Want to change the owner of your account to another person? Below you'll find some information about this process, and how to get started.
At Pineapple Net, we understand that there may be instances where you need to transfer ownership of your account to another individual or entity. This process ensures a smooth transition of ownership while maintaining the security and integrity of your account. Here's how you can request a change of ownership:
1. Submit a Change of Ownership Request:
- Visit our Contact Us page and submit a Change of Ownership request ticket.
- Alternatively, send an email to accounts@pineapple.net.au with the following information:
- New customer's First Name
- New customer's Last Name
- New customer's Phone Number
- New customer's Email Address
- Date the change is to take place
2. Receive Confirmation Emails:
- Once we receive your request, we will send an email to both the old and new customers requesting their written agreement for the transfer of ownership.
3. Provide Written Agreement:
- Both the old and new customers need to reply to the confirmation emails with their written agreement for the transfer of ownership.
4. Transfer of Ownership:
- Upon receiving written agreement from both parties, the transfer of ownership will take place on the requested date.
5. Finalize the Transfer:
- On the requested date, the old customer will either be billed their final invoice or provided a refund for any unused credits.
- The old customer's payment method will be removed from the account.
- The new owner's details will be added to the account, completing the change of ownership.
- An invoice for the upcoming month will be issued to the new owner - this invoice will be due 15 days after the completion of the transfer.
6. Add a Payment Method:
- The new owner will need to add a payment method to the account to ensure continued service.
Important Notes:
- Please ensure that all requested information is accurate and up-to-date to avoid delays in processing your request.
- Both parties must provide written agreement for the transfer to be completed.
- The account remains the responsibility of the current owner until:
- Both parties agree to the transfer and;
- The date of the transfer
- Pineapple Net reserves the right to verify the identity of both parties before processing the transfer of ownership.
